Chapter 11

“Dad, what are you and Charity doing?” Asked Max’s voice, waking him from sleep. He blinked a few times, before he came awake fully.

Shit, what the hell was the kid doing here. He’d known when he’d stopped by Colt’s earlier that Max was there with Connor, but now he stood next to the bed looking at him and Charity in the bed. “I brought him home.” A voice said from the doorway, making Tick stiffen. He looked over to the door seeing Ratchet standing in the doorway with a large grin on his face. Bastard, Tick thought.

“Okay well take him downstairs, so we can get up.” Tick told him harshly.

“Why? Can’t you get up with us here? I want to talk to Charity.” The boy demanded looking mutinous. Earning a chuckle from the doorway, making Tick glare at the other man.

“Come on Max, and let them wake up. We can see if any of the cake Charity made yesterday is still left.” Ratchet said, waggling his eyebrows at Tick. “Hopefully your dad and Charity can get up, real quick.”

Leaving Tick without a doubt that the man meant his cock not them getting out of bed. Not that they needed to work at getting it up. It was already hard and ready.

The boy stared between the door and Charity, but the lure of cake made the boy move to the door. Tick was relieved. He felt Charity move against him as the door clicked shut.
